I think this is probably the most inspiring collection of thoughts about modern productivity that I have ever seen, and his book is not even written yet. Merlin’s really passionate, and there’s truth here that speaks to the worker in an information age, so I have a feeling that his book will be enlightening.
… But for now, I need to figure out who I am and get back to work.

你有聽過 Tenori-On 這個現代樂器嗎？ 這是一個由日本多媒題藝術家岩井俊雄發明的小玩物。它的外表像一件 16×16 的 Bubble Wrap 啪啪機，而用法有點像 PSP 遊戲 Lumines 配上電子 synthesizer。但是這個玩意其實深入淺出，也可以成為一個真正用來作演奏的一件樂器。
例如以英國新人 Little Boots 作示範….

唔，很久沒有理會過這個 blog ，就趁這個機會做一些 maintainance 吧。
升了呢到 Verion 2.8.4，又改了 Template，轉到 colourful, playful 一點啦。

最近的一大樂事，是追看「巾幗梟雄」。對，就是柴九和四奶奶。
演技好當然是賣點。沒有當紅偶像（well，吳唱K不算賣座保證罷），只有實力派演員，已是一大破格。劇本好，高潮多，鬥智鬥力，有驚喜，怎會不好看？現在製作人連結局都預先張揚，可見對劇本多麼有信心。
但我喜歡這套劇還另有原因。和別人說起，我都以這兩幕戲解說。
第一幕，為兒子爭奪家族生意控制權的大奶奶和受託接管家族生意的四奶奶攤牌。四奶奶說，你明知你兒子不學無術，不是做生意的材料，生意落在他手上只會被敗，為何你仍然要爭？大奶奶說，長子嫡孫承計家業，是天經地義的事，就算他敗光，也是天經地義的。四奶奶說，如果我們家開的是茶樓或者綢段莊，你這樣說還過得去；但我們開的是米行，還是全無錫最大的米行，我們的生意關係著全無錫的百姓是否有可負擔的米吃，那就不是一盤生意那麼間單。我們要保障百姓的福祇，所以不能給那敗家子胡作非為。（大意，下同）
另一幕，四奶奶看到自然現象的變化，估計會有蝗蟲。但稻米只熟了兩成，如果現在收割，萬一沒有蝗災，就會導致米價飆升。四奶奶問柴九意見，柴九說，當然不收割，因為蝗蟲是天災，失收不是你的責任；但萬一提早收割了卻沒有蝗蟲，你就背上黑鑊，你身邊虎視耽耽的人就會借機奪權，所以搏不過。最後，四奶奶還是決定收割，承諾如果沒有蝗蟲就辭職交出生意；因為她考慮的，不是自己的安危，而是百姓有沒有飯吃。
這只是其中兩幕，還有許多例子。在這個劇本背後，有一個信念：營商者的社會責任。這是我看過最簡單演譯 Business As Mission 的例子。
題外話，這劇最大的敗筆，是選角。岳華做老爺，謝雪心做大奶奶，演技不會有問題。但是，劇情說老爺，大奶奶和四奶奶是自幼認識一起長大的。岳華，謝雪心和做四奶奶的鄧萃雯怎看也不像同輩。我想，如果用鄧萃雯做綿裡針的大奶奶，邵美琪做敢作敢為的四奶奶，黃日華或者苗僑偉做英明正直但長情的老爺，應該更合情理。
On October 26, “ColdMilkTea.com + Alolos” had our first Coffee House. It was a full house, with about 42 people who attended the event. I appreciate folks for coming, and especially thank the various volunteers for executing with the food and drinks.
The idea for the coffee house was sparked a year ago, at the December 30 AFC Vancouver Coffee House “暗戀”. Alolos and I heard that AFC will not hold Coffee House in the year 2008 – and since most of AFC’s events are intended for the purpose of teaching – we decided to organize one ourselves, as a creative outlet and to demonstrate our ability to hold one.
