話說我到香港走了一倘。
這次一去半個月。當中 attend 了婚禮，找了很多朋友聚舊，買了些書和 DVD，而且學習了每一天去和鼻敏感 Freestyle Battle。 冇，我冇去排 Comme des Garçons ，冇去等泰林開倉，每天只是從一間商場走到另一間，吃吃吃，打DS，「包雲吞」，買書，等朋友放工食飯。
其實香港對我們這些加拿大移民很古怪(Alien!)的。你會覺得它是一個家，會有回家的感覺，可是又有很多與你印像中的有出入。你會覺得德福應該只得一期，而且應該多些文具舖。你會覺得朗豪坊很恐怖，像城牆圍困著那條旺角大道。 你會很想找尋某種情意結，某種城市的靈魂，但你眼前的只會是珠光寶器、連鎖企業、外國 imports、文化翻炒。
這並不是說香港不漂亮，只是香港最可愛的東西都是那些被 oppressed 的: 找麥記往往比找大排檔更容易。而大排檔其實是最好食（我覺得）。
香港缺乏空間。指的不單單是公眾 public space，而且是大家都缺乏心靈空間。就算商場有空凳，都只會有那些阿嬸和阿伯去坐，年輕的仿已經習慣以消費來爭取休息。That’s the default. 坐交通公具就一定要打機，講電話，聽歌。 (In some ways 我知道，這些動作其實只是想保存你自己的個人空間：你打機就仿佛可以擁有多些私人時間，不用發呆或去看那些奶粉廣告。我也有這樣做，我很清楚。 但是，我還是覺得有點過份吧？) Again, that is the default in the city.
其實這些 observation 並不獨特。今期《號外》都有講。很多人都作出這些批評。只是，我要問的問題是，大家可以做甚麼去推翻這種潮流？領匯並不會 overnight 停止商業計劃。廣告商並不會立即停止轟炸。但是，但是我覺得，the revolution starts with us. 在個人的層面上，在我們家庭中，我們可以對這種文化說「不」吧。
Barack Obama 在競選演講上常常對美國人民說 “We are the change we have been waiting for.” 香港，是誰令你改變？

On October 26, “ColdMilkTea.com + Alolos” had our first Coffee House. It was a full house, with about 42 people who attended the event. I appreciate folks for coming, and especially thank the various volunteers for executing with the food and drinks.
The idea for the coffee house was sparked a year ago, at the December 30 AFC Vancouver Coffee House “暗戀”. Alolos and I heard that AFC will not hold Coffee House in the year 2008 – and since most of AFC’s events are intended for the purpose of teaching – we decided to organize one ourselves, as a creative outlet and to demonstrate our ability to hold one.
